Following the unprecedented postponed tabling of Budget 2025 on 19 February owing to disagreements amongst Government of National Unity (GNU) partners, the Minister of Finance tabled a revised Budget on 12 March 2025.
In his 2025 State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Cyril Ramaphosa made a range of promises relating to addressing dire governance, public spending and service delivery contexts in South Africa.
