TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR : The Public Service Accountability Monitor (PSAM) in the School of Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University is looking to appoint a Training Coordinator.
Main job objectives: To coordinate overall implementation, administration and quality control of formal training offered within the PSAM’s Regional Learning Programme (RLP). This includes the accredited Fundamentals of Social Accountability course and any other training that the programme may offer. S/he will be required to oversee all administration and logistics in the management of all formal training, as well as conduct course facilitation (in collaboration with the RLP Team) and assessment. The incumbent will also be required to contribute where appropriate to country-specific training provided by the RLP. The incumbent will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of all formal training and will be the point of contact for any course-related communication and will be expected to convene and maintain an active course alumni community for the purposes of learning from social accountability practice.
